In general, UEP accepts students in every Study area (technical,
scientific, humanistic, literary, artistic disciplines). The Study
program starts after the registration procedures and the acceptance
by the Register Officer.
The rules of the University foresees the constitution of a Study
Committee.
The Study Committee
The student chooses the member of his/her Study Committee (SC
for short). The SC is formed by a President, and two (or more)
assistants. The President of the Study Committee has to be approved
by the Dean of the Faculty Office and will be listed as a Associated
Professor UEP. The assistants will be listed as Assistant Professors.The
SC President has to be a well known scientist; the assistants
have to be graduated in the Study areas chosen by the candidate.
The members of the SC are employed by UEP. In case the student
will not be able to choose his/her Study Committee, he/she can
ask for help by email to the UEP headquarters.
The Study Plan
After the approval of your SC by the Dean of Faculty, you can
begin to draw up your Study plan. The President of your SC will
receive from UEP the indication referring core courses related
to your Study field and your Study level The Study methodology
has to be shared with the President of your SC. Wherever necessary
the Office of the Dean of Academic Affairs can grant you the possibility
to attend courses at UEP's associated Institutions.
The contents of the Study plan are:
- Basic courses (as indicated by the Faculty), learning methodoloy
(independent Studies, residential courses or seminars at UEP's
associated institutions [specify the institution]; laboratories,
tutorial programs, and so on);
- Subsidiary courses: contents, study methodology (as above);
- Work of Diploma / Thesis: provisional qualification, contents,
methodology.
